Britain Hart puts Title on the line at BKFC 51
BKFC will be returning to the “Old Dominion” state at the end of September with a Women’s Strawweight Championship headliner.
Friday September 29th BKFC 51 takes place at the Salem Civic Center in Salem Virginia. In the main event reigning Women’s Strawweight champion Britain Hart will defend against Melanie Shah from the UK.
At BKFC 48 Shah battered Sydney Smith to earn her second decision win in the promotion and take the number 5 spot in the rankings. Following the win CagedMinds very own Gabriel Padilla caught up with Hart, who was in attendance and formally made the challenge for Shah to come to her neck of the woods for a title opportunity.
Hart has won three fights in a row. In her last two outings she’s defeated Charisa Sigala to claim the vacant championship and successfully defended against Jenny Clausius. Hopefully Hart isn’t over filling her plate as she’s also scheduled to face Chisakan Ariphipat at BKFC Thailand 5 November 4th.
The co-main event of BKFC 51 will see Dustin Pague who comes in off back to back knockouts wins against fan favorite and ruthless brawler Joe Elmore.
