Almeida now facing former title challenger November 4th

Curtis Blaydes has been forced to withdraw from the main event of UFC São Paulo.

Surging Brazilian prospect Jailton Almeida will remain on the card now facing the man with the most Knockouts in UFC history Derek Lewis.

Almeida is six wins and six finishes inside the octagon if you include his win on the Contender Series. And all that destruction has taken place inside the first two rounds. The number nine ranked Almeida has showcased his jiu-jitsu pedigree securing four wins by your naked choke. Lewis the number ten ranked contender got his groove back in July ending a three fight skid by knocking out Rogerio de Lima with a flying knee at UFC 291. The win gave the Houston fighter a recording setting 14th knockout out win in the UFC.
