Lightweight title fight headlines first LFA of 2024
LFA to start 2024 with a Lightweight Title Fight in the North Star state.The first LFA of the new year will be the twentieth visit for the promotion to Minnesota.
The main event of LFA 174 will see JaCobi “Big Toe” Jones defending the LFA Lightweight title against Kegan “Machine Gun” Gennrich. Jones has won his last three fights in the LFA. “Big Toe” became LFA champion at LFA 158 stopping Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani by TKO in the second round. Gennrich is riding a five-fight win streak including four consecutive wins in the LFA. The “Machine Gun” earned this title opportunity after submitting Donals Bush by arm triangle choke at LFA 158.
In the co-main event unbeaten Vietnamese fighter, Quang Le faces Cody Peterson who’s fighting for the first time since 2019, while having won his last four MMA fights.
LFA 174 takes place on Friday, January 12th at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota just minutes outside the Twin Cities.
