UFC Denver Weigh-ins, everyone makes weight eventually
CagedMinds is live on the scene at the UFC host hotel in Denver Colorado for the UFC Fight Night “Namajunas vs. Cortez” Weigh-ins.
In the main event former women’s Strawweight champion “Thug” Rose Namajunas, the number 6 ranked Women’s Flyweight contender faces off with number 11 ranked Tracy Cortez. Namajunas the first fighter on the scale at (124.75). Her counterpart Tracy Cortez was the second to last fight on the scale coming in at 127lbs. on her first attempt and then 126.5 with the curtain. Cortez will continue to cut weight. On the third attempt after cutting her hair Racy Cortez weighs 126.5 and then the commissioner turns back around announcing 126lbs for a fourth weight. Officially Cortez dose make weight.
Both Evan Elder (170) & Darius Flowers (170) came in under the welterweight limit for their bout that was late addition and the final fight added to the card.
