Edwards vs Cochrane headlines BKFC Fight Night Omaha
BKFC returns to the Cornhusker State in mid April with a main event that could produce the next Middleweight title challenger.
The headliner will see Omaha’s own, number two ranked contender Dakota Cochrane squaring off against unbeaten Marcus “Bad Intentions” Edwards.
Dakota Cochrane is on a four-fight win streak. Last year when BKFC was in Omaha Cochrane stopped Jeremie Holloway in the second round. He followed it up by knocking down Wilfredo Santigo three times in route to a third round finish putting Cochrane with in grasp of a title shot.
Marcus Edwards has ran off three straight wins to start his Bareknuckle career. Edwards showed where his nickname “Bad Intentions” comes from immediately with a first round TKO of Jay Jackson in his promotional debut. In his second fight in the ring Edwards won a decision over Michael Manno. Innhis lone fight of 2024 the Colorado fighter won a unanimous decision over Pat Casey. An impressive win could see Edwards leapfrog the division.
