Two fights lost, UFC 313 now 10 Fight Card
Hours before the doors are set to open for UFC 313 the promotion announced that two fights have fallen off the card due to illness.
The originally scheduled feature prelim at heavyweight between Curtis Blaydes and Rivan Kuniev is off after Curtis Blaydes was forced to withdraw from illness.
An ailment has also taken out John Castaneda who was set to battle Chris Gutierrez on the early prelims in a Featherweight contest.
The card shortening up to ten fights has pushed the start back an hour from 6:30 pm Et to 7:30 pm Et.
The flyweight bout between Joshua Van (12-2) & Rei Tsuruya (10-0) has been elevated to the featured prelim position. The fight will be the first UFC bout to feature two fighters born in the 2000’s.
