Middleweight Showdown Headlines Fightworld 38
Live MMA action returns to the Revel Entertainment Center in Albuquerque this Saturday night.
The main event will see unbeaten rising prospect James Romero from Fit NHB against Jacksonwink’s Dahlen Wilson who has four times as much pro experience. Romero hasn’t seen a third round in his three professional wins. The last time Romero fought at Fightworld in the Duke City he stopped Miguel Tovar in 39 seconds. Romero continued making major statements coming out victorious in an unbeaten showdown with Jake Woodley at LFA 198 from an Anaconda choke in under a minute. Wilson has achieved a series of four consecutive victories. His last three wins have all come under the Battle MMA Championship banner where he’s won their Welterweight title.
At Bantamweight Iyean “Problem Child” Varela a slick grappler from Borg MMA battles Daniel Gonzales from Fit NHB who has one hundred percent finishing rate. At Lightweight Kory Windham a wrestler from Borg MMA faces Nobody’s Villain & Jackson wink knockout artist Henry “Boom Boom” Barahona. Plus, Norfolk Virgina’s Selden Wright travels to enemy territory for a scrap with Nobody’s Villains Mark Hussey.
The amateur card will consist of talented competitors from across Colorado & New Mexico representing Borg MMA, Cortez Jiu Jitsu Academy, Dark Haven, Fit NHB, Nobody’s Villian, Sandoval Fight Systems, San Juan BJJ, Victory MMA.
