Nowhere to Run XV Results

A jam packed OverTime Sports Bar a Grill was in attendance for Nowhere to Run XV. 

The 20-fight amateur Kickboxing& Muay Thai card featured some of the most talented prospects from around the southwest.  The night opened up with El Hadj Baba Sadigha Diallo from the Jacksonwink Academy winning a unanimous decision over Trey Valdez from San Juan BJJ on the strength of a high kick scoring a knockdown in the second round. A third round knockdown propelled Invictus fighter Garrett Holland to a unanimous decision win over Marcos Serna from Chavez Dojo.

Force of 1’s Havier Bara won a competitive decision of Ramiro Ramirez from Invictus. Forward pressure and wild winging punches earned Jacksonwink product Humoud Alfahad a unanimous decision victory over Zwven Swallows from Sindalu.  Leg kicks earned Chavez Dojo’s Ricardo Pereyra the night first TKO stopping Samuel Akin from Perez Fighting Systems in the third.

Ithan Valentino from HB Elite Strikers with stood a huge comeback from ANK’s William Mena to win a decision after scoring a knockdown in the second. San Juan BJJ’s Julian Sartor won a decision over Invictus fighter Joseph Larcade on the strength of two. knockdowns. Chavez Dojo’s Angelo lCruz beat Perez Fighting Systems Logan Akin.” Absolute Boxing’s Johnny Martinez  knockdown down Hunter Opdyke in the first. Martinez kept the pace up earning a first round TKO. 


Creed Spencer from Perez Fighting Systems struck first scoring a knockdown of Fermin Becerra in the first round. Becerra wearing a crimson mask came back in the second hurting Spencer with a body kick. Becerra and Spencer with heavy exchanges in the pocket to the second round bell. An exhausted Spencer barely made it to the stool and was unable to answer the bell to start the third. After scoring two knockdowns in the third Serenity Burns of Chavez Dojo closed the show stopping A’lana Cruz from Sindalu with a flurry of punches in the third. Adam Torres from Chavez Dojo overcame a hot start from ANK’s Luis Murga to win a decision.

 

Invictus product Moises Martinez earned a razor close split decision over Bushido MMA’s Sonny Perez with a diverse attack. Jacksonwink fighter David Pires turnned in a four knockdown performance three coming from the right hand to defeat Kris Otero-Talent from Borg MMa by third round TKO. Mario Ontiveros of Elite Kickboxing won a decision over Chavez Dojo’s Issac Ortega by turning Ortega’s nose into a faucet. Force of 1’ Michael Bautista collected a second round standing TKO win over Hector Contrera thanks to in close high kick to the head. Christopher Shane-Tanner from Invictus blasted Rory MacPhil with an overhand right and overwhelmed the ANK fighter on the restart for a second round TKO.

Frank Baca from Nobody’s Villain won a highly competitive decision over Aaron Baldonado from Sandoval Fight Systems with tricky left body and high kicks. The show closed quickly as David Rivera from TMC obliterated Anthony Valverde from JacksonWinks with a spinning elbow in the first round. Rivera easily securing the knockout of the night.
