TKO is expanding into Boxing

The Boxing world may never be the same again after the joint announcement from Dana White, Nick Khan, & Turki Alalshikh.
Dana White and the TKO holdings group have agreed on a multi year deal with Turki Alalshikh to form a new Boxing leauge.

There will be a highly structured system to develop new talent from around the world, including athlete combines and academies.

All the boxers in this new league will have access to the UFC Performance Institute, the world’s leading combat sports performance training, research, rehabilitation, and nutrition center.

TKO’s production, media, and promotional expertise, will be utilized to deliver both in-arena experiences and top-tier, state-of-the-art broadcasts to fans around the world.

Dana White did say “The best fight the best. You work your way up the rankings… You don’t need 3 letters in front of the belt. Whoever has that belt is the best in the world in that weight class.” <span;>

Further details about the new boxing promotion, including fighter signings, fight schedules, venues, and host locations, will be revealed in the coming months.

For those wondering if we could see active UFC fighters competing in this new Boxing league Dana White has a swift answer, ” No, never. I’m surethere are guys that want to box, but I literally don’t want to see any of that. We keep the boxers in Boxing and MMA guy at MMA”.
