BKFC 75 Main Event set Mundell defends against Sanchez
The BKFC Middleweight title will be on the line when the promotion returns to the Land of Enchantment in June.
The pound for pound number one ranked fighter in BKFC, David “Redneck” Mundell will head to enemy territory to face number four ranked Donald Sanchez’s challenge in his hometown.
BKFC 75 is set for June 6th at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mundell has ripped off seven wins in a row to earned his pound for pound king distinction. The “Redneck” has posted three successful defenses of his title since winning the belt at BKFC 34. After a scheduled bout with former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion “King Mo” failed to come together. Mundell was part of BKFC’s debut in Spain with a second round knockout of British power puncher Danny Christie. Recently Mundell had his sights set on the biggest fish in the BKFC pond, the king of violence, Mike Perry.
The Duke City’s Donald Sanchez was a trailblazer starting his MMA career in 2005. No stranger to title fights having won ten of them in King of the Cage. Since transitioning into Bare-knuckle sanchez has posted four wins in five fights. The lone loss coming at Light Heavyweight in his debut to the sport. As a Middleweight Sanchez is 3-0 with knockouts of Noah Cutter & Dallas Davison.
