Judges Not Needed at LFA 206
While the judges were in attendance their services weren’t needed. All twelve fights ended by stoppage and only a single contest saw a third round.
A free following high high-volume attack off the whistle from Keegan Gennrich was met by stiff shots in the clinch from Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani putting Gennrich on his but. Gennrich had a stiff jab and slapping body kicks, but JPL continued to land the heavier leather. A Lebosnoyani high kick landing across the jaw had Gennrich looking for the takedown. Once on the mat Lebosnoyani quickly locked in a triangle choke for the first-round finish.
The Heavyweight co-main event was the only fight to make it out of the second round. Alvin Hines continued his winning ways with a third-round knockout of Billy Ray Valdez. Hines hunted hard for the takedown but couldn’t keep Valdez down. Hines did reopen an old cut over Valdez’s right eye. Hines took the role as aggressor adding in kicks with his punches while Valdez chose to Box. A right high kick from Hinez landing square to Valdez head ending the bout in the third.
Adam Vigil took huge advantage of a short notice call exploding his way through Starling Simmons with crushing left hooks. Martin Camilo decked Perry Stargel with a left hook that had him looking the wrong way. Camilo finished the fight in thirty-five seconds with a heavy right elbow and short right hand putting Stargel out. Steven Asplund came back from being on the wrong side of a scrambled filled first round to box up Raiden Kovacs in the second round stopping Kovacs with an up elbow. Joey Hart forced a doctor stoppage after the second round having closed Omoyele Gonzlaez’s left eye.
