Title Fight TripleHeader set for BKB 42
You can only make one first impression. For BKB’s first event in Tennessee they have stacked the card with a trio of championship fights.
In the main event two division champion LT “Smash” Nelson defends his Super Welterweight title against the only man to beat him in Bare-Knuckle Sam Liera. Their first encounter in 2022 earned fight of the year honors from the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame.
Nelson is unbeaten in his last six fights coming off of a unanimous decision over James Connelly, settling business from there draw in August of 2023. Following the win over Nelson Liera scored a third round TKO of Jose Fernandez. At BYB 36 Lera earned his 7th win in Bare Knuckle taking a split decision over Ryan Jett.
BKB 42 is set for June 21 at the Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the co-main event Javon “Wolfman” Wright makes his first defense of the BKB Welterweight title against former champion Carlos Alexandre. In a champion’s showdown BKB women’s Welterweight champion Jamie “The Ted Queen” Driver meets BKB Women’s Featherweight champion Helen “Iansa” Peralta in a Lightweight title eliminator. Plus, former Heavyweight champion Ike Villanueva takes on Eric Olsen who’s been in the sport since 2016.
