The originally scheduled Light Heavyweight main event for UFC Kansas City has been scrapped due to injury sidelining Jamhal Hill.  The news came from Khalil Rountree Jr. who was to face Hill.

While Garry took the loss he performed above expectations drawing critical acclaim for taking the fight and showing major heart. Garry was currently not booked before this announcement. 2024 wasn’t all bad for Garry he did win decisions over Geoff Neal & Michael Page.

Prates has taken the UFC by storm since earning his contract with a second round knockout on the Contender Series. In his first year on the roster the Brazilian sniper scored four wins jump knocked to jump into contention. In his third fight in the octagon Prates became the first person to knockout Jingliang Li with a left hook. The left hook was again the weapon of choice for the experienced Muay Thai fighter fight who stopped Neil Magny inside one round.
