BKB 58 Brings Gamboa, Ladd and Multiple Title Fights to Miami
BKB is bringing a loaded lineup to Miami on August 29, with championship stakes, decorated boxing names and several returning bare-knuckle veterans set for action at BKB 58.
The main event will see Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo defend the BKB Heavyweight World Championship against Mark O’Neil.
Trujillo enters the bout undefeated and looking to continue his run as one of the most dangerous heavyweights on the BKB roster. O’Neil will attempt to hand the champion his first defeat and leave Miami with the heavyweight championship.
The card will also feature another championship fight as Alberto Blas defends his BKB Super Featherweight Championship for the first time. Blas will face No. 1 contender Brandon Birr, who will be looking to take advantage of his title opportunity and dethrone the champion.
One of the biggest crossover stories on the card will be the BKB debut of former world boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist Yuriorkis Gamboa.
Gamboa will face Yesner “Cuajadita” Talavera as the Cuban star begins a new chapter in his combat sports career. Gamboa brings years of elite-level boxing experience into the Trigon, but Talavera will have the opportunity to spoil his highly anticipated debut.
Former UFC standout Aspen Ladd will also make her BKB debut in Miami. Ladd is scheduled to face Bianca “Diamante” Daimoni in another matchup that brings a familiar combat sports name into the bare-knuckle world.
The card will also see the return of Uly “Monster” Diaz, who heads back to the Trigon to face Gilberto Fuentes.
Diaz has become one of the most recognizable names in bare-knuckle combat sports, and his return adds another experienced veteran to an already stacked Miami event.
Darrian Leu-Pierre will also compete on the card against Kyle McMillan, while Keegan Vandermeer takes on Yordan Fuentes.
The Vandermeer-Fuentes matchup has already generated fan interest, with the Miami crowd backing Vandermeer to come away victorious.
Another bout carrying plenty of name recognition will feature Robert Duran Jr. vs. Ryan Spivey, bringing the son of boxing legend Roberto Duran into the BKB spotlight.
Plus, reigning Featherweight champion Yampier Ramirez will face Triston Harrison in a Super Featherweight bout.
With two championship fights, Gamboa’s BKB debut, Ladd’s arrival and the return of Uly Diaz, BKB 58 has quickly developed into one of the promotion’s most intriguing events of the summer.
