UFC Vegas 123 Results: Nolan Scores Biggest Win of His Career Amid Officiating Controversy
Halloween night inside the UFC Apex brings a top 15 lightweight main event as number 14 ranked Tom Nolan battled number 8 ranked Renato “Money” Moicano.
Australian lightweight Tom Nolan should find himself ranked inside the top ten after a TKO win over former title challenger Renato Moicano. Nolan survived having the BJJ black belt on his back in the first round and, in the second, made the most of a gift from referee Dan Miragliotta, who stood the fight up while Moicano had Nolan’s back with a body triangle locked in. Back on the feet, Nolan landed a thunderous knee. A compromised Moicano lost position in the third, and from the top, Nolan finished the fight with huge punches and elbows.
Jacobe Smith ran his UFC record to 5-0, winning his third fight of 2026 with a dominant decision victory over battle-tested veteran Randy Brown. Smith chopped down the taller Brown with leg kicks before his wrestling took over. Elbows rained down from Smith, turning Brown into a bloody mess. At 5-0 inside the Octagon, Smith could see ranked competition in front of him in his next start.
Takedowns and control in the first two rounds were enough for Cody Durden, who held off a third-round comeback from Ode Osbourne to preserve a decision win.
Luana Santos took a major step toward a top-five ranking, defeating former title challenger Yana Santos by unanimous decision. Luana got Yana down and took her back in the second and third rounds.
Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani handed Farman Hasanov his first professional loss, beating up the body and causing a fight-stopping laceration over the left eye.
After getting chopped down by calf kicks in the first round, Dakota Hope doubled Francis Marshall’s landed strikes over the final two rounds to take a split decision.
Julian Erosa rode off into retirement with a comeback first-round knockout win over Jeong Yeong Lee. Lee cracked Erosa with a left hand in the opening seconds and wobbled him in the clinch. Erosa managed to survive before uncorking an overhand right that put Lee out cold.
While Zach Reese cost himself a point with an eye poke, his bodywork and strong clinch game earned him a unanimous decision over Mickey Gall, who dropped his fifth fight in a row.
Joe Kropschot welcomed Nick Klein’s attempt to take him to the mat, reversing the position and finishing the former LFA champion with the same triangle-armbar combination he nearly secured in his Contender Series fight.
Piera Rodriguez stuffed the takedowns of Talita Alencar and boxed her way to a decision victory.
The card opener saw a successful UFC debut from former two-division Oktagon champion Lucia Szabova, who stopped Tainara Lisboa with ground-and-pound in the third round.
