Mika Frankl caught up with Matthew “Papitas” Esquibel at the Jack Candelaria community center to talk about his upcoming bout against Ricardo Fernandez, December 1, at Legacy Boxing Promotions “Expo Explosion II”. Esquibel talks about what kept him from competing at Aztec Warfare II, how this camp has went, & how boxing is ingrained in his family.
