BKFC 92 Results: Kai Stewart Remains King at Fenway Park

BOSTON — BKFC 92 brought bare-knuckle action to the unique setting of Fenway Park on Saturday night, and when the dust settled, the featherweight division still had the same champion sitting on the throne.

Kai Stewart successfully defended his BKFC Featherweight Championship against fellow unbeaten fighter Harry Gigliotti, winning a hard-fought unanimous decision in the main event. The judges scored the fight 49-46 and 48-47 twice for Stewart.

From the opening bell, Stewart established the high-pressure style that has made him one of the most difficult fighters in the division to deal with. The champion repeatedly blitzed forward, attacking the body and forcing Gigliotti into the clinch.

Stewart found success with his right hand off the breaks, catching Gigliotti as the challenger attempted to reset. The pace remained relentless, turning the title fight into the type of high-volume war of attrition where Stewart thrives.

Gigliotti remained competitive, but Stewart’s pressure and physicality carried him through five rounds and allowed the champion to remain undefeated at 9-0.

Ferea Continues Her Reign as the “Queen of Violence”

Christine Ferea added another devastating finish to her résumé, improving to 12-1 with a second-round knockout of Sofia Landi.

Ferea scored the first knockdown of the fight in the opening round, landing a right hand off a blitz that sent Landi to the canvas.

The champion continued to apply pressure in the second. Ferea backed Landi up with consecutive straight rights before finding the finishing blow. With Landi’s head turned, Ferea connected with a left hook that immediately ended the fight at 0:33 of Round 2.

Landi falls to 0-1, while Ferea continues to establish herself as one of BKFC’s most dangerous female fighters.

Joe Lauzon Overwhelms Kuykendall

UFC veteran Joe Lauzon made a statement in his bare-knuckle debut, stopping Stash Kuykendall by TKO at 0:49 of Round 2 after scoring five knockdowns.

Lauzon pushed the pace from the start, repeatedly finding a home for the straight right hand. Three knockdowns came early, with two of them coming from the right hand as Lauzon’s pressure began to overwhelm Kuykendall.

The assault continued in the second round. Another straight right produced the fourth knockdown before a left hand scored the fifth and final knockdown.

With Kuykendall unable to defend himself effectively, the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Lauzon begins his BKFC career with an emphatic victory, while Kuykendall drops to 0-3.

Barrett Scores Nine Knockdowns in Dominant Finish

Peter Barrett put together one of the most dominant performances of the night, stopping Elijah Harris at 0:57 of Round 3after scoring an incredible nine knockdowns.

The tricky southpaw immediately found his rhythm with the straight left hand. Barrett dropped Harris four times in the opening round and added three more knockdowns in the second.

By the third round, Harris had absorbed an enormous amount of punishment. Barrett continued to find openings, eventually scoring another knockdown with a body shot before a left hook produced the ninth and final trip to the canvas.

The referee mercifully waved off the fight, giving Barrett the TKO victory and improving him to 3-0.

Tray Martin Survives Knockdown to Score Brutal Comeback KO

Tray Martin remained undefeated with a dramatic fourth-round knockout of Rico Discullo.

Martin was knocked down in the second round and had to fight through damage to his left eye, but the adversity only seemed to fuel his comeback.

Martin began to turn the fight around by getting physical in the clinch. He roughed Discullo up on the inside and eventually scored a knockdown.

Then came the finish.

Martin landed a massive left hook that sent Discullo tumbling backward. The punch badly rearranged Discullo’s nose and ended the fight at 1:21 of Round 4.

Martin improves to 3-0, while Discullo falls to 4-1.

Spain Edges Rosa in Three-Round Thriller

Charles Rosa and Charon Spain delivered one of the night’s most competitive fights, with Spain earning a split-decision victory.

Rosa scored the first knockdown in Round 1, but Spain answered by putting Rosa on the canvas in the second.

The third round produced even more drama as both fighters hit the canvas.

After three rounds, the judges were split, but Spain’s 48-45, 45-47 and 47-46 scorecards gave him the victory and moved him to 1-0.

Davison Comes Off the Canvas to Knock Out Casey

Dallas Davison overcame adversity to score a comeback knockout against Pat Casey.

Casey appeared to have the momentum early, but Davison refused to stay down. After getting off the canvas, Davison rallied and found the opening he needed.

At 0:59 of Round 2, Davison landed a clean straight right that ended the fight.

The victory improves Davison to 6-4, while Casey falls to 4-3.

Starling Outpoints Paprocki

Taylor Starling added another decision victory to her record, defeating Kay Paprocki by unanimous decision.

The judges scored the fight 29-28 and 30-27 twice in Starling’s favor.

Starling improves to 7-4, while Paprocki drops to 2-2.

Viana Rallies for One-Punch Knockout

Guilherme Viana opened the night with a comeback of his own, getting off the canvas before scoring a spectacular first-round knockout of Robinson Perez.

Perez caught Viana early and sent him to the canvas, but Viana quickly recovered.

When Perez came charging forward, Viana timed him perfectly and landed a tight right cross that caught Perez coming in.

The shot ended the fight instantly and gave Viana a dramatic first-round knockout victory, improving his record to 3-1.
