WSOF Signs Derrick Mehmen
Coming of WSOF 3, World series of Fighting has announced the signing of former Strikeforce and Bellator competitor American Top Team product Derrick “Caveman” Mehmen (15-5).
Mehmen who has spent the majority of his career as a Light Heavyweight, has decide that with signing with a new promotion, Mehmen will move to as new weight class as me plans to fight in the Heavyweight division.
Mehman went 1-1 in Strikeforce defeating Roy Jones by unanimous decision before losing a unanimous decision to Gian Villante.
Currently the “Caveman” has won 3 fights in a r ow over John Reed (TKO), Patrick Harman (SUB), and Louis DeWerdt (UD). Mehmen has 10 of 12 stoppage wins by KO/TKO.
It was not yet announced when Mehmen will make his promotional debut.
