Alonso vs. Santos & Wallace vs. Hayes Added to XFC 26: Night of Champions III
Recently the XFC has added two Welterweight bout to XFC 26: Night of champions III, with Mauricio Alonso (9-4) vs. Luis ‘Sapo” Santos (58-8-1) and Donny “High Intensity” Wallace (5-4) meets Gerric “The Silent Assassin” Hayes (8-9).
Alonso has won 4 straight fights over Thiago Cardoso , Eric Lawson (SUB), Henrique Shigemoto (SD), and Roberto Ferreira (TKO). Since back to back losses in Bellator, “Sapo” has won 3 in a row over the like of Shamar Bailey, Sebastian Latorre, and Dave Courchaine; all by KO/TKO.
After a promotional debut submission win over Jason Blackford, “High Intensity” is now looking to bounce back from a TKO loss to Rickey Rainey. Wallace has 4 of his 5 win by stoppage, all by submission. Hayes scored the 2nd KO/TKO win of his career in his most recent bout, his promotional debut at XFC 21; defeating Jason Blackford. “The Silent Assassin” has all his wins by stoppage having the pother 6 by submission.
In a change of a bout Jason Gfford (1-0) will now face Mario Scott (2-1) instead of meeting Josh Brown (0-0).
XFC 26: Night of Champions III takes place on October 18, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee; and is headline by by Roger Carroll challenging Scott Holtzman for the XFC Lightweight title.
