Sakara vs. Watson at UFC Fight Night 30
Tom “Kong” Watson’s (16-6) next UFC bout will be in his home land of England against Alessio “Legionarius” Sakara ( (19-10).
Watson a former BAMMA Middleweight champion is 1-2 in 3 UFC contests, with a TKO win over Stanislav Nedkov; but suffering losses to Brad Tavares and most recently to Thales Leities. The win over Nedkov was huge for “Kong” as the fight won the Fight of the Night Award and the stoppage got Knockout of the Night.
Sakara a member off American Top Team will be looking to halt a 3 fight skid. During the skid Sakara has been defeated by Chris Weidman and Brian Stann, while also being disqualified for illegal blows to the back of the head at UFC 154 against Patrick Cote; in a bout that Sakara was clearly in control of.
UFC Fight Night 30 will be on October 26, at the Manchester Arena in England; with the pivitol Middleweight match-up of Michael Bisping vs. Mark Munoz in the main event.
