Benoit Meets Page at Legacy FC 24
On the Axs TV show inside MMA it was announced that a Bantamweight battle of strikers has been put together for Legacy FC 24 on October 11th, with Jackson’s/Winkeljohn’s fighter “The Angel of Death” Damcio Page (16-8) taking on Janjir Muay Thia’s Ryan “Baby Face” Benoit (6-2).
Page ended a 5 fight losing streak in his promotional debut when he knocked out Patrick Ybarra less then 2 minutes into their Legacy FC 20 bout. The knock out was the 9th of Pages career. “The Angel of Death” now not with the UFC is looking to stay busy and right now also is also schedule to be in action vs. Marcelo Costa on September 21st and at Legacy FC 22 on August 23rd, against a opponent to be named.
Benoit is coming off of a loss to Anthony Birchak at MFC 37, in what is a fight of the year candidate. The loss ended a 4 fight win streak, that saw 3 of the 4 wins come under the Legacy FC banner; and 3 of the 4 win came by TKO over Matt Espinoza, Randy Villarreal, and Joseph Sandoval. “Baby Fcae” has 5 of 6 win by KO/TKO.
