Hard Hitting Hillbilly meets The Professor November 22
Kevin “The Hard Hitting Hillbilly” Croom (12-4) will take on Deryck “The Professor” Ripley (11-20) on November 22 in the main event of the Whiskey Wild Saloon Showdown 22.
Croom trains at Momma G’s Dungeon, Danny Romero’s Hideout, ABQ Kickboxing, and at Luttrell’s MMA & Fitness. Croom is currently on a 7 fight win streak. Croom in 3 of his last 4 fights has used the rear naked choke to gain victory; forcing Brian Bearman, Adam Rider, and Dustin Phillips to tap. Even with the wins by submission as of late it been the striking of Croom that has impressed the most, using angles and really putting the pop and extension to his punches.
Ripley has won back to back fights for the first time since 2007, having defeated Chris Page (TKO) and Chris McDaniel (SUB). Ripley is a member of K2L Grindhouse and is moving down from Lightweight to take this fight.
