Diabate Battles Latifi at UFC London
France meets Sweden, as the UFC has announced that Cyrille “Snake” Diabate (19-9) will collide with Ilir “The Sledgehammer” Latifi (7-3) at UFC London on March 8.
After alternating losses and wins fro 3 bouts, Diabate defeated Tom DeBlass (MD) and Chad Griggs before not answering the bell for the 2nd round of a battle with Jimi Manuea at UFC on Fuel 7.
Latifi defeated Denis Bogdanov (SUB), Tony Lopez (UD), and Jorge Oliveira (UD); in a row before steeping up on less then a weeks notice replacing Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 9 against Gegard Mousasi
UFC London takes place on March 8 at the O2 Center in London, England; headlined by Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi “Poster Boy” Manuwa.
