Main & Co-Main Events announced for UFC on Fox 14
Headlining UFC on Fox 14, from Sweden will be a Light Heavyweight bout between Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson (16-2) and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (18-4).
Stockholm, Sweden’s, Gustafsson has won 6 of 7 fights and is coming off a TKO of Jimi Manuwa reounding from a UFC 165 unanimous decision loss to Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones. “The Maluer” trains in Sweden at the Allstars Traingin Center and has 10 of 13 stoppage wins by (T)KO>
Johnson a member of the Blackzilians, will be returning to action after not being charged, with domestic violence after recent allegations. In the cage Johnson has won 8 in a row including UFC wins over Phil Davis (UD) and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (KO). During his 8 fight winning streak “Rumble” has scored 5 wins by (T)KO.
The co-main event will see the return of Dan Henderson (30-12) to the Middleweight division and welcoming him will be Gegard Moussai (35-5-2).
In March Henderson ended a 3 fight skid, with a TKO of Shogun, and then in his next fight was choked to sleep by Daniel Cormier. Mousasi is 2-2 since joining the UFC with wins over Ilir Latifi (UD) and Mark Munoz (SUB), but has suffered losses to Lyoto Machida (UD) ; and most recently to “Jacare” (SUB).
UFC on Fox 14 will take place at the 30.000 seat Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on January 24.
