King of the Cage: Fierce, On Jan. 24 in Socorro, TX

on Saturday, January 24^th, at the Socorro Entertainment Center in Socorro, TX, King of the Cage: Fierce will take place featuring El Paso’s own Oscar De La Parra (2-2) vs. Utah’s Oliver Parker (3-5).

Oscar de La Parra in his last fight rebounded from a TKO loss to Estevan Payan, with a unanimous decision win over Dustin De La Cruz. Oliver Parker has tasted defeat in his last pair of bouts with a submission loss to JJ Mix and a TKO loss to Desmond Hill.

In Flyweight action Jesus Urbina (3-2) meets Nathaniel “Game Dog” Baker (2-5). Urbina will be fighting for the first time in a year and is coming off a split decision win over Jonathan Lopez. Baker will be turning to action for the first time in over 3 years and will be looking to end a 3 fight losing streak.

Undefeated amateur Cristobal Chavez is slated to make the jump to the pro ranks and is currently awaiting an opponent. In July Chavez scored his 6^th win as am amateur submitting Victor Orquiz by rear naked choke in the 1^st round, at King of the Cage: Rise.

Also on the pro side of the card flyweight Joe Veloz (0-2) will be in search of his 1^st pro win and his teammate Julio Hinojosa (3-1) will be in action as well.
