3 Bouts official for September 12th’s Invicta FC 14
On September 12th Invicta FC will be back in Kansas City, Missouri for the 6th time and at the Municipal Auditorium for the 2nd time. The main event will see a battle of undefeated’s when Mexico’s Alexa Grasso (7-0) challenges Brazil’s Livia Renata Souza (8-0) for the Invicta Straweight title.
Grasso is 3-0 in Invicta with a TKO of Alida Gray and decision wins over Ashley Cummins and Mizuki Inoue. Souza scored her 7th career win by submission when she made her promotional debut at Invicta FC 12 winning the strawweight title by forcing Katja Kankaanpaa to tapout from a triangle choke in the 4th round.
In the co-main event Katja “Killer Bunny” Kankaanpaa (10-2-1) will look to rebound against undefeated DeAnna ”The Argentine Assassin” Bennett (7-0). Finland’s “Killer Bunny” is 3-2 in her last 5 with wins over Juliana de Lima (UD), Alyona Rassohyna (SUB), and Stephanie Eggink (SUB). Bennett ius 3-0 in Invicta with wins against Michelle Ould (TKO), Jennifer Maia (UD), and Norma Rueda Center (UD).
The final bout recently announced is in the Flyweight division and will see Andrea “KJB” Lee (2-1)vs. Rachael Ostovich (2-1). Lee who recently made a successful pro kickboxing debut will be looking to rebound from a Invicta FC 10 split decision loss to Roxanne Modafferi, while Ostovich is coming off a Invicta FC 10 split decision win over Evva Johnson.
