Almeida & Birchak Square off Nov. 7th
The newest bout added to UFC Fight Night 77 is at Bantamweight with Undefeated Brazilian Thomas Almeida (19-0) facing former MFC Bantamweight title holder, Arizona’s Antony “El Toro” Birchak (12-2).
Almeida has 15 of 18 stoppage wins by knock out. The Chute Boxe product is 3-0 in the octagon with a decision win over Tim Gorman and knock outs of Yves Jabouin (TKO) and Brad Pickett (KO).
Birchak is 6-1 in his last 7 coming off a June knock out of Joe Soto, rebounding from a submission loss to Ian Entwidtle. Birchak scored his first 5 pro wins by submission and in his recent aforementioned rub has claimed 4 wins by knock out.
The Geraldo Jose De Almedia State Gymnasium in São Paulo, Brazil will play host to UFC Fight Night 77 on November 7th, headlined by Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson III.
