Almeida & Birchak Square off Nov. 7th
The newest bout added to UFC Fight Night 77 is at Bantamweight with Undefeated Brazilian Thomas Almeida (19-0) facing former MFC Bantamweight title holder, Arizona’s Antony “El Toro” Birchak (12-2).
Almeida has 15 of 18 stoppage wins by knock out. The Chute Boxe product is 3-0 in the octagon with a decision win over Tim Gorman and knock outs of Yves Jabouin (TKO) and Brad Pickett (KO).
Birchak is 6-1 in his last 7 coming off a June knock out of Joe Soto, rebounding from a submission loss to Ian Entwidtle. Birchak scored his first 5 pro wins by submission and in his recent aforementioned rub has claimed 4 wins by knock out.
