It’s very much expected that the card for July 9th’s, UFC 200 will be stacked and it’s also been rumored that the main event would be a rematch between Conor McGregor & Nate Diaz. The rumors are true and the rematch will again be at Welterweight.
McGregor, is the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion, who will be looking to avenge his first loss in over 5 years. It was just over 3 weeks ago, on short notice that Nate Diaz, survived getting cut up is the first round, to stalk down, and land punches in bunches on the Irishmen; who then went for an ill timed take down. This would lead to Diaz, sinking in the choke that crashed the hype train.
With McGregor fighting for the 2nd consecutive time out of the weight class in which he holds the title. The UFC 200 co-main event will be for the interim Featherweight title with former champion Jose Aldo facing former Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar. Aldo will be looking to rebound from his UFC 194, 13 second, knockout loss to McGregor. Edgar has won 5 straight to work his way back into title contention, since a UFC 156, unanimous decision loss to Jose Aldo.
UFC 200 is July 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
