TUF 14 Winner Released from the UFC
TUF 14 Featherweight winner Diego “DB” Brandao (20-11), a member of JacksonWink MMA, has been released from the promotion due to violations of the conduct policy.
About 2 weeks ago, Brandao was arrested on suspicion of assault at the downtown Albuquerque strip club “Knockouts”. In all Brandao, who has yet to be indicted is expected to be charged woth 1 count of aggravated batter and 3 counts of aggravated assault. It’s also come out that Brandao’s driver license is suspended.
Inside the octagon Brandao went 6-5, winning 2 of his last 3, but is coming off a 3rd round submission loss to Brian Ortega.
Only time will tell how Brandao’s legal situation will play out and if the troubled Brazilian can turn his life around.
