Fresquez Productions Announces August 6th Event
The Jackson-Wink Academy, today played host to a Fresquez Productions press conference to announce a August 6th, MMA event at the Legends Theater inside the Route 66 Casino.
The main event will see UFC vet Isaac Vallie-Flagg in his final fight against Texas’s number 1 ranked 155-er, Chris “The Enigma” Pecero. Vallie-Flagg has fought not just in the UFC but also in Strikeforce, King of the Cage, and the Jackson’s MMA Series. Now Married and an owner of 2 Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts Academies, Vallie-Flagg will happily be walking away from competition following this fight. In 15 wins Vallie-Flagg has 9 stoppages with 5 knockouts. Corpus Christi, Texas’s Chris Pecero trains out of American Revolution MMA, is a Legacy FC vet, and has won 6 of his last 7. Currently Pecero is on a two fight win streak with wins over Javier Obregon (tko) and Edgar Juarez (sub).
The co-main event will be a rematch of the last Fresquez Productions main event as Conrad Padilla and Chevy Bridges will go to battle again. The first fight saw Padilla recover from and early knockdown to bust open Bridges enough to where the doctor stopped the fight in the 3rd round. That fight in early April was Padilla’s 1st MMA fight in an year and Bridges 1st fight in 2 years. Padilla has 3 of his 6 wins via knockout, while Bridges, has 2 knockouts and 2 submissions in 4 wins.
