Karakhanyan – Jenkins 2 set for Bellator 160
The 2nd announced bout for Bellator 160 will be a rematch between Featherweights “Insane” Georgi Karakhanyan (24-6-1) & “The Highlight Kid” Bubba Jenkins (11-2).
Since submitting Jenkins with guillotine choke in the first round at Bellator 132, Karakhanyan, a former WSOF Featherweight champion, has dropped back to back unanimous decisions to Daniel Weichel and Pat Curran. Since the loss, Jenkins has won 3 straight with a TKO of Joe Wilk and decision wins over Jordan Parsons and Goiti Yamauchi.
Bellator 160 is August 26th at the Honda Center in Los Angeles; California; and is headlined by a Lightweight number 1 contender bout between “Smooth” Benson Henderson & Patricio “Pitbull” Freire.
