UFC on Fox 22 Results
The octagon had been set up inside the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California for UFC on Fox 22; headlined by a Woman’s Strawweight bout between Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant & Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson.
VanZant is a member of Sacramento’s own Team Alpha Male and is the number 7 ranked contender in the division. This past year VanZant gain main stream popularity as a contestant on the TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. In the octagon “12 Gauge” has won 4 of 5, coming off a highlight head kick knock out of Bec Rawlings. Waterson the former Invicta FC Atomweight champion, is a member of the JacksonWink fight team and is the number 11 ranked contender in the division. Waterson made her promotional debut debut back in July of 2015, scoring her 8th career win by submission, submitting Angela Magana, with a rear naked choke.
