Page vs. Kiely set for Bellator 227

The newest addition to Bellator’s return to Dublin will see “MVP” taking on Richard Kiely.

Inside the Bellator cage Michael “Venum” Page (14-1- has been a human highlight reel. The British striker 8 of his 11 finishes by way of knockout. The two most memorable a Flying knee that caved in Evangelista Santos’s forehead at Bellator 156 & forcing David Rickels to waive the white flag at Bellator 200. Page’s last win came by decision at Bellator 216 over bitter rival Paul Daley to advance to the Welterweight Grand Prix semifinals. The semifinal would be a learning experience as Page would suffer his first loss by knockout to Douglas Lima.

Kiely is a member of Ireland’s SBG, who has all three of his wins by knockout.  Kiely made his promotional debut at Bellator 217, stopping Mickael Bucher inside the first round. This fight comes together as most currently do, after a heated exchange on social media.
