MVP & Derek Anderson to Tangle in London
Bellator MMA will be returning to the UK in late November, and their bringing a Welterweight main event.
The night’s headliner will see, English knockout artist, Michael “Venum” Page (15-1) against, California’s, Derek “The Barbaric” Anderson (16-3-1). At Bellator 227, Page rebounded from his first career loss by knocking out Richard Kiely with a flying knee, in under 3-minutes. The win gave Page his 12th career finish, & 9th by way of knockout. This will be Anderson’s toughest test since making the move up 15 lbs. Anderson’s first two Welterweight bouts have returned positive results, defeating Zak Bucia & Guilherme Vasconcelos by unanimous decision.
The event Presumably will be Bellator 235 or Bellator Europe 6, on November 23rd at The SSE Arena Wembley.
The co-main event has, unbeaten, Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards squaring off with Mike “Seabass” Shipman. Edwards comes from a fighting family, the younger brother of UFC Welterweight Leon “Rocky” Edwards, is 3-0 in Bellator; coming off a decision win over Jonathan Bosuku, from Bellator 223. Shipman is 4-1 in Bellator with all his victories by stoppage. Shipman a team mate of Michael Page, who has all his win by stoppage eight-knockout & five-submission.
