Diego Sanchez incurs USADA Infarction, Feb. 15 Fight Still Happening
Diego Sanchez is the latest victim of the dark side of the supplement industry.
A December 9th collected sample for USADA testing came back positive for ostarine and S-23. Further testing was able to confirm that both substances where within, but not listed on supplements provided by the first TUF winner.
Still having to take responsibility for what one up in their own body, Sanchez has agreed to a three-month reduced suspension. USADA has determined that the “Nightmare” started to use the supplement on October 26th. The suspension has been decided to start retroactively to the start date and will therefore end on January 26th.
The suspension will not affect Sanchez’s fight with Michel Pereira in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 167. The event is will be the 25th Fight Night on ESPN+ and takes place at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM.
