Calderwood, Shevchenko’s next challenge at UFC 251

The UFC women’s flyweight champion is wasting no time in continuing to crave out her legacy in the division.

The “Bullet” just defended the title at UFC 247 scoring a third round victory by TKO. Less then three weeks later the next challenger is in place. At UFC 251, Scotland’s Joanne Calderwood  will look to do what no one outside of, two-division  champion Amanda Nunes, has done in the octagon and defeat the “Bullet”. In the last 14-months, Shevchenko has won the UFC title and defended three times.

Calderwood came to the UFC off of season 20 of The Ultimate Fighter. Prior to the show “Jojo” went 4-0 fighting for Invicta FC. Since moving to 125 lbs. Calderwood has won three of four fights, two wins by decision.
