10-Fight Card announced for the UFC’s May 16th Fight Night
The fight card for the third of three events within a week that the UFC is planning for Jacksonville has been revealed.
Heavyweights occupy the main event as former MMA & Kickboxing champion Alistair Overeem, the number 8 ranked contender squares off with number 9 ranked Walt Harris, who’s on a three-fight win streak. The co-main event will see number 6 ranked women’s strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha taking on Angela “Overkill” Hill, who’s on a 3-fight win streak. Number 11 ranked lightweight contender Edson Barboza moves down to featherweight to tangle with number 15 ranked Dan Ige. Also, at bantamweight number 13 ranked Song Yadong faces number 14 ranked Marlon Vera. The featured preliminary bout will see a meeting of 185 lbs. prospects Kevin Holland & Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez.
The event will take place at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The prelims will be streamed on ESPN+ with the main card on ESPN.
