UFC Fight Night Smith vs. Teixeira up to 11 Fights
Two new additions to the UFC’s Fight Night on Wednesday May 13th now gives the card a total of 11 fights.
At lightweight unbeaten Omar Morales from Columbia welcomes Mexico’s Gabriel Benitez to 155lbs. Moarles won his octagon debut back in December, a unanimous decision over Dong Hyun Ma. Benitez is an 8-fight vet of the octagon, going 5-3 at featherweight with three wins by stoppage.
The other additions will see the return of Chase Sherman against the debuting Ike Villanueva. Since parting ways with the UFC in late 2018, the “Vanilla Gorilla” has gone 3-0 in MMA & 2-1 in Bare Knuckle boxing. Villanueva is on a 4-fight win streak of first round knockouts. The two most recent coming over UFC vets Roger Narvaez & Rashad Coulter.
UFC Fight Night Smith vs. Teixeira is the second of three event taking place in a weeks time at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Jacksonville, Florida.
