Eye vs. Calvillo headlines June 13 UFC Fight Night
The targeted main event for the UFC Fight Night on June 13th will be a women’s flyweight bout between former title challenger Jessica Eye versus rising star Cynthia Calvillo.
Eye is the number one ranked women’s flyweight contender. The women nicknamed “Evil” is coming off a unanimous decision win over Viviane Araujo from UFC 245. Calvillo is the number ten ranked strawweight contender who is moving north ten pounds. In December Calvillo fought Marina Rodriguez to a majority draw; after back to back wins over Poliana Botelh & Cortney Casey.
Two offer cobtest slated for the card have surfaced. Coming off knocking out Doo Ho Choi, Charles Jourdain is going to tangle with Andre Fili, the fighter nicknamed “Touchy” has won two of his last three fights. Tyson Nam, who has ten wins by knockout, looks for his first UFC victory when he faces Ryan Benoit who has finishes in nine of his ten wins.
