UFC Fight Night Smith vs. Teixeira Weigh-in Results, one fighter heavy
The UFC host hotel in Jacksonville, Florida, was the site for today’s UFC on ESPN+ 29 weigh-ins. Twenty two fighters got on the scale this morning with one missing the mark.
The main event has a green light after former title challengers Anthony Smith & Glover Teixeira both successfully made weight. The co-main event has long time MMA vet Ben Rothwell against former title challenger Ovince St. Preux. other notables who made weight include former title challenger Ray Borg, former Heavyweight champion Andrie Arlovski, former PFL champ Philipe Lins, and former Bare Knuckle Boxing champ Chase Sherman. The lone fighter to miss weight was Karl Roberson, who came in 1.5 lbs. heavy.
