One fighter heavy at Bellator 244 Weigh-ins
The Bellator 244 weigh-ins took place in Uncasville, Connecticut where twenty-two athletes stepped on the scale at Mohegan Sun.
The light-heavyweight title bout has the green light as champion Ryan Bader & challenger Vadim Nemkov both came in under the 205 lb. limit.
One competitor Jessy Miele, who face former champion Julia Budd in the co-main event missed weight. Miele got on the scale at 147 lbs., 1 lb. over the 146 lb. limit. Miele fight with Julia Budd will still happen but she’s been fined 20% of her purse. Everyone else made weight but Weber Almeida vs. Salim Mukhidinov has been changed from a featheright to a 148 lbs. catchweight bout.
