Legacy Fighting Alliance is at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for LFA 90. The eight-fight card is headlined by a battle between unbeaten fighters, for the vacant LFA bantamweight title.

The main event has Zviad Lazishvili, from the Democratic  Republic of Georgia, versus Ricky “The Karate Kid” Steele for the. Lazishvili has eight of his twelve wins by submission. At LFA 79 Lazishvili made his promotional debut beating Josh Huber by unanimous decision. Steele is an alum of “TUF” 27, will fight for the first time in the LFA. But did go 2-0 in the RFA defeating both Jay Pressley & LJ Schulz by unanimous decision. Last August “The Karate Kid” won a split decision over Phil Caracappa on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Calvin Harbaugh against Alden Coria got LFA 90 going. Harbaugh quickly attacking the takedown. Coria reversed the situation taking Harbaugh’s back securing the finish by rear naked choke. For the first time as a professional Dan Argueta had to 15 minutes. The Illinois native should off the works hes been putting in at the gym, using his strikes to get inside and set up his take-downs; and chaining together his take-downs for the decision win. 

Fight Pass Main Card

The main card got going with the pro debut of Kelsey Ameson against Tabatha Ricci. In her first MMA bout in over five years Ricci was aggressive on the feet and nasty with her ground & pound on the mat. Taking the decision win. Allan Begosso showed off his heavy hands. Two left hooks put Sean McPadden on the ground where Begosso followed still punching to the finish. Mo Miller knocked down Mando Gutierrez with the first punch he threw. From there Miller utilized his wrestling taking Gutierrez’s back finishing the fight by second round rear naked choke. Hard counter strikes and stuffing all Chris Brown’s take-downs attempts saw Ignacio Bahamondes win a razor thin split decision.  Maycon Mendonca won his fourth in a row, catching Devin Smyth in the middle of a spinning backfist with a right hand in the second round, finishing with punches on the ground. In the main event Zviad Lazishvili quickly took Rick Steele to the ground. As Steele attempted to return to his feet. Steel gave his back allowing Lazishvili to insert the hooks and found the rear naked choke finish.
