Goldy out Penne welcomes Godinez to UFC
After twice falling through the UFC has moved on from Hannah Goldy vs. Jessica Penne.
Goldy was forced out of there March 27th meeting after testing positive for Covid-19. This second withdrawal has come without an official reason.
Penne (12-5) a former Invicta FC atomweight champion, will now face promotional newcomer, LFA women’s strawweight champion Lupita Godinez, who has signed a multi-fight deal with the global leader in MMA.
Penne recently served a 20-month suspension from USADA after testing positive for synthetic steroids. Since early 2019 Penne has been trying to return to action with injuries and the Covid-19 pandemic keeping the 38-year-old on the bench.
Godinez (5-0) is a Mexican training in Canada who announced her presence to the MMA would at LFA 94 taking the strawweight title from Vanessa Demopoulos. “Loopy” has excellent Boxing with incredible timing and hadns speed.
