Brunson-Till slated to meet in August
A top ten middleweight match-up is slated to headline the UFC Fight Night on August 14th.
The bout, first reported by ESPN will pit American wrestler, number five ranked Derek Brunson against English Striker, number six ranked Darren Till. The bout comes together are the two exchanged jabs on social media that included photo shopped images. Now they’ll really be able to jab one another.
Brunson is on the second longest win streak of his UFC career and could tie his longest with a win over Till. In March Brunson grinded out a win over Kevin Holland end “The Trailblazers” five-fight win streak.
Till is 1-1 since moving up to middleweight. In his debut at 185 lbs. “The Gorilla” won a split decision over former title challenger Kelvin Gastelum. Then 28-year-old dropped a decision to former champion Robert Whittaker. Till is currently finishing up recovery from a Collar bone injury that forced him to withdraw from facing Marvin Vettori in April.
