McKinney vs. Irizarry headlines LFA 109
Legacy Fighting Alliance has announced a Lightweight showdown will take center stage as the promotion returns to Oklahoma on June 4th.
The LFA 109 main event will see Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney against Nichael Irizarry. The event takes place at Grand Hotel Casino & Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma and can be seen worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
McKinney made his promotional debut at LFA 106 knocking out Toninho Gavinho by head kick in only 17 seconds. Seven weeks prior McKinney knocked out Dedrek Sanders in just 16 seconds. In all the Illinois native has eight of his nine wins in the first round and five in under a minute.
Irizarry will be making his promotional debut coming off of back-to-back wins by rear naked choke. In August of 2019, the native of Puerto Rico submitted Mike Pickett in the first round and four month later forced Travis Karppinen to tap in the seconds.
The co-main event will see Askar Askar coming off a decision win over Kevin Wirth at LFA 92 faces Justin Wetzell, who’s won five straight including knocking out Michael Aquila at LFA 79 & beating Teshay Gouthro at LFA 93 by decision.
