The Grand Casino Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma hosts LFA 106. The eight-fight card is headlined by a ligh-heavyweight match-up as unbeaten Joshua Silveira faces former RFA title challenger Rafael Viana.
Josh Silveira is the son of American Top Team founder Conan Silveira, who wrestled at the D-1 level for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Four straight stoppage victories to start his career has cemmented Silvveira as one of the divisions top prospects. Rafael Viana is a former Shooto Brasil champion who has finishes in five of his six wins. After moving to the United Startes “Gaucho” settled in Connecticut to train along side of UFC title challenger Glover Texieria. We last saw Viana in April of 2016 when he broke his hand against Devin Clark in the main evet of RFA 37.
