LFA going International with Pair of Events in Brazil
Legacy Fighting Alliance has announced for their first international trip they’ll be bringing two nights of MMA action to Rio de Janeiro.
On Friday July 16th, LFA 111 will pop off. After a day of rest, LFA 112 goes down on Sunday July 18th. As normally the events will stream on UFC Fight Pass at the usual time of 9 p.m. ET. The card will see some of the promotion’s brightest standouts & Brazil’s top prospects.
LFA is the top feeder promotion to the worlds biggest promotions having seen over 240 alumni signed to the UFC, Bellator MMA, & One; including many Brazilians. In everyone of the UFC’s male divisions there is a Brazilian LFA vet. Alexandre Pantoja, Pedro Munhoz, Diego Ferreira, Thiago Moisés, and Mackenzie Dern are all LFA alumni currently ranked in the UFC.
Not too long ago LFA welterweight champion Maycon Mendonca received the call & signed with Bellator. When the UFC needed a pair of short notice replacements for the Fight Night on June 5th it was middleweight champion Gregory Rodrigues & Tabitha Ricci jumping at the opportunities.
