Former Champions to Battle at Bellator 268
Former UFC & WEC champion Benson Henderson is returning to the division in which he claimed his biggest victories.
“Smooth” will take on Brent Primus who beat Michael Chandler for Bellator’s lightweight title in 2017. Henderson won four in a row over Roger Huerta, Saad Awad, Adam Piccolotti, & Myles Jury. But is now looking to halt a skid that includes loses Michael Chandler & Jason Jackson.
Primus has won two of his last three fights submitting Tim Wilde by Gogoplata & Chris Bunngard with a neck crank, both in the first round. The Oregon native wants to get back on track following a split decision loss to Islam Mamedov.
Bellator 268 takes place on October 16th at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
