The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the fifth event of Dana White’s Contender Series 2021. The four-fight card features eight prospects competing to impress the UFC brass in hopes of earning a UFC contract.
The night started off with Rizvan Kuniev surviving some early adversity so drag Edivan Santos to the ground finishing with strikes from inside the guard in the third. Daniel Zellhuber engaged in an all-out war with Lucas Almedia. After 15-minutes it was Zellhuber coming away with his first decision win. Caio Borralho met and out lasted Aaron Jeffery in the clinch in a grueling battle. And in the main event Igor Poterya stunned Lukasz Sudolski with a combination, scoring a knockdown with a right hand, and ground strikes sealed the deal.
