LFA ending the year with a Women’s Flyweight Championship Fight

The final event of 2021 for Legacy Fighting Alliance will see who can become the third Women’s Flyweight champion in company history joining Andrea Lee & Sabina Mazo.

LFA 120 is set for December 10th at the very familiar Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The promotions fourteenth visit to the state is headlined by Flyweight title fight pitting Brazil’s Mayra Cantuaria (9-3-1) against unbeaten Canadian Jamey-Lyn Horth (4-0).

Cantuaria comes into the fight on a six-fight win streak. In July in Sao Paulo Cantuaria knocked out Patrica Borges a win that has catapulted her into an immediate spotlight in the LFA. The 32-year-old has been in the cage with the like of UFC vets Amanda Lemos, Sarah Frota, & Lara Procopio. Horth has 100% finishing rate with three wins by knockout including her most recent win putting Jade Masson-Wong down with a body kick. The submission on the Squamish, B.C. fighters record is a submission of Corinn Laframboise.

It’s important to note all six of the Women to have won LFA world titles have signed contracts with the UFC.
